Future Rehabilitation Centre has grown from strength to strength in all aspects of its development since its opening in year 2000. It is dedicated to the empowerment of children with various disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, Intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities by providing them with therapy services and education that specifically address their individual needs using methods that are age and need appropriate and parallel with the best national and international practices.
Future Rehabilitation Centre, formerly known as Future Centre for Special Needs, was set up in September 2000 with sixty students. Future Rehabilitation Centre’s student population has continually grown and it currently caters to an average of two hundred multinational young students with determination and varying levels of severity, ranging from mild/moderate to severe…

Under the patronage of our President H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Future Rehabilitation Centre’s ultimate goal is to take part in the fulfilment of the broader Vision 2021 of UAE which embodies the rights for happiness and inclusion of People of Determination. Under the guidance of our Chairman H.E. Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim and our supportive Board of Trustees, our team is committed to empower our students’ abilities through well tested methods and holistic care. The advocacy of many sectors of the community has inspired many of our students’ engagement beyond the classrooms.






We engage in presentations, conferences, exhibitions, newsletters, and awareness activities to share knowledge and raise community awareness.
Our multidisciplinary team evaluates referred students and external clients, including psychologists, speech, occupational, and physiotherapists.
Individualised education covering academic, functional, and life skills, with small classes, therapy support, and vocational training.
Individualised therapy programs including Speech & Language, Occupational, and Physical Therapy, with Sensory Integration and tailored treatment plans.

Future Rehabilitation Centre over the course of its operation has invested on the procurement of curricular programmes from either here or abroad. It is the goal of the centre to provide appropriate and effective programmes to each and every student.

At the Future Rehabilitation Centre there are 4 phases of learning (phase 3,4,5 & 6) and each student has individualised and targeted educational goals. In phases 3, 4 & 5 students are following a developmental model.

The Competent Learner Model is a teaching program combining the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Precision Teaching, and Direct Instruction.
